San Diego Zoo

Hub and I spent a fabulous day at the San Diego Zoo yesterday.  In addition to enjoying all the animals, we were also reminded why we love spending the winter months here.  It was an absolutely beautiful day...not too hot, not too cool, not a cloud in the sky.  Just click on any photo for a larger peek...

......for the memories.  Just the other side of the USS Midway, we located the display below.  First of all we came upon the larger than life statue of a returning sailor kissing a nurse. 
Secondly, we enjoyed the statues depicting Bob Hope entertaining the troops.
